What is the name of the Web 2.0 music website allowing people to share their playlists?

I read somewhere about a Web 2.0 music website; what it would do is scan the users’ playlists and tell them, on the basis of playlists scanned, what other performers users with similar music tastes had in their playlists, thus helping broaden one’s music horizons. The website is apparently a huge success, and what started as three colleagues’ archetypal garage project, ended up being sold to some huge media conglomerate (I believe it was AOL Time Warner, not sure tho) for millions of dollars. I have been trying to find it, but with little success. Can anyone please let me know the name of the website? Thank you! ;-)
